In the wonderful world of all things wedding there are many traditions and customs that couples may choose from. Anyone who’s heard the expression “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” knows about the sort of symbolism and hype that surrounds these things.
One relatively new idea that many couples are increasingly choosing to indulge in is what’s known as the ‘first look.’ That’s when the bride and groom get to see each other first on their wedding day, before all of their family, friends, and guests get a peek, rather than at the ceremony. For years tradition held that the groom should first glimpse his bride in her wedding dress as she walked down the aisle, and if he saw her before that moment then they risked bad luck.
These days couples are embracing the idea of first looks and Beth and Tom Gardner, the two lovebirds in this video, decided to make it happen on their special day. However, Beth had a very unique twist planned for her big reveal. Unbeknownst to Tom, she decided to go another alternate route and took it one step further than anyone would ever expect. Once you see what she did you’ll be laughing your face off!
The clip starts off with a dapper looking Tom waiting patiently on a picturesque wood bridge. With the photographer in place to capture the special moment, Beth began her approach and started walking towards her soon to be husband. Moments later he turned to view his beautiful bride and came face to face with a T-Rex instead!! Tom burst out laughing at the totally unexpected sight and his loving reaction said it all, she was the one for him.
Beth had certainly managed to lighten the mood, and light up Tom’s face as well, with her kooky T-Rex costume. And seriously, who doesn’t love those funny looking inflatable outfits, they are just awesome! It’s safe to say that these two will last a lifetime judging by the hilarious and refreshing sense of humor they share in common. The couple that plays together, stays together!
