Why is it that all of the restricted, forbidden, or off-limits activities and things are often the most fun ones to do? Take, for example, jumping on your parents bed. When you were really young that was simply the best and it was easily just about the most fun activity you could do! However, your parents were probably less than thrilled about it. They likely told you that not only was it very dangerous, but also off-limits and warned you not to ever do it again… so you did it anyways!
The fact that certain activities are forbidden is what makes them so appealing in the first place. This seems to be true not only for people, but for our animal friends as well. We all know of a dog or a cat who is not allowed on either the couch or the bed and yet they go on the furniture anyways. Some do it because it offers a more comfortable spot to rest on, while others seem to like the rush of breaking all the rules!
Shelby, the adorable Golden Retriever seen here, does it for both of the reasons mentioned above. According to her owner, she’s not allowed on the bed when her dad is home, but when he’s out it’s a whole different story!
This clip clearly shows a moment in time when her dad was gone and so Shelby headed straight for the bed and had at it. She can be seen sliding across the covers and rolling happily around on her back. At one point she has all four paws up in the air and then she resumes wriggling and rubbing her furry body all over the blanket! She mushes her head in the pillow-soft mattress and wiggles around excitedly, her tail wagging in the air while all her brothers and sisters look on from floor level. It certainly looks like Shelby is having the time of her life!
The hilarious dog looks like a big, goofy cutie-pie as she rolls across the bed. However, the best part is at the very end when she realizes that perhaps she’s gotten a little too carried away and she’s been caught. Her reaction and the look on her sweet face is priceless, you just have to see it for yourself so be sure to check her out.
